Shyan Vahed

With an educational background in Urban and Regional Planning and a graduate certificate in International Development, Shyan (she/her) brings a diverse skill set to her role in climate action. Her experience in nonprofit development, fundraising and project management reflects a commitment to social impact, previously showcased through her work with 2SLGBTQIA+ youth experiencing homelessness, and women experiencing gender based violence. 

Shyan is based on the traditional territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples. She will be working closely with our Executive Director, Caroline Brouillette, to support her operational, strategic and policy activities.
