Caroline Brouillette

Caroline is the first francophone Executive Director of the network, and works to create strong and broad social consensus for climate solutions that address the convergence of crises the world is faced with, both through national policy development and in international diplomacy fora. Caroline represents environmental NGOs on Canada’s Sustainable Jobs Partnership Council, a legislated body providing advice to the federal government on measures and policies related to the labour impacts of the transition.

She also co-chairs the Just Transition working group at CAN International, a global network of more than 1,900 civil society organizations in over 130 countries.

Caroline’s commentary on climate issues has appeared widely in Canadian and international media, including in CBC-Radio-Canada, the New York Times, Reuters, and Al Jazeera. She joined the climate movement in 2018, when she represented Canadian youth at the G7 summit in Charlevoix. Caroline holds a Master’s in Public Policy from the Lee Kuan Yew School of the National University of Singapore, where she majored in Economics.
