Unceded Anishinaabe Algonquin Territories [OTTAWA], 7 October 2026:

Climate Action Network Canada and energy and climate experts will hold a virtual press conference this Thursday, October 8, to launch the Yes Agenda, a new initiative mapping Canada’s clean energy future.

Referring to his nation-building agenda, Prime Minister Mark Carney stated, “We don’t want to hear what people are against, we want to hear what they’re for.” The Yes Agenda presents nation-building renewable projects that can help us succeed in a changing climate and a volatile global economy. The report and the interactive map aim to equip the public and decision-makers with the information they need to envision what Canada’s clean energy future can look like, and to help make it a reality.

Based on research conducted by Dunsky Energy + Climate Advisors, the Yes Agenda report and digital project explorer highlight 110 solar, wind, geothermal, hydro, storage, and transmission projects in various stages of development from coast to coast to coast.

When: 2 p.m. Eastern Time, Thursday, October 8, 2026
