The Yes Agenda: Building Canada’s Clean Energy Future

Canada needs to build clean, renewable energy infrastructure that works for Canadian communities and Indigenous nations.
And the solutions are at our fingertips.

The Yes Agenda Project Explorer offers a coast-to-coast look at 110 solar, wind, geothermal, hydro, storage and transmission projects in development right now, tracking close to 100 GW of electricity generation. The mapping tool was developed by Climate Action Network Canada and Adamant, built on research conducted by Dunsky Energy + Climate Advisors in spring 2026. Initial research has turned up nearly a hundred potential clean energy projects that could support Canada’s goal of doubling electricity capacity by 2050.

The Yes Agenda: Building Canada’s Clean Energy Future report presents the project-level ways this clean energy future is taking shape, here and now. It tells the story of communities, provinces and territories leading the way, and presents practical information to envision what Canada’s clean energy future can look like, and to help make it a reality.

From B.C.’s first geothermal electricity facility, to Yukon’s first connection to the North American grid, to Saskatchewan’s first Indigenous-equity and largest solar farm, to Canada’s first offshore wind farm, the possibilities are more exciting, and closer to becoming reality, than ever before.

Canada can build a clean energy future that is affordable, secure, and shared. The Yes Agenda is how we choose to build a better collective future.
