Avec ce plan, les gens et les collectivit\u00e9s de partout au Canada peuvent se voir rejoindre l\u2019\u00e9norme opportunit\u00e9 que fournit l\u2019\u00e9conomie propre, qui est en train de transformer les march\u00e9s mondiaux.<\/p>\n<p>Malheureusement, \u00e0 un moment o\u00f9 d\u2019autres \u00e9conomies mettent un terme \u00e0 l\u2019expansion des investissements dans les \u00e9nergies fossiles, ce plan ne change pas le fait que les gouvernements canadiens continuent d\u2019investir dans les fossiles, soumettant les travailleurs et travailleuses et notre \u00e9conomie \u00e0 la volatilit\u00e9 toujours croissante des march\u00e9s p\u00e9trolier et gazier.<\/p>\n<p>Augmenter le prix sur le carbone au Canada est essentiel pour r\u00e9duire les \u00e9missions de carbone au fil du temps, afin de faire payer les pollueurs et mettre plus d\u2019argent dans les poches des Canadien.ne.s. La tarification du carbone est maintenant une norme mondiale, avec plus de 70 juridictions \u00e0 travers le monde imposant un prix sur la pollution. La tarification du carbone au Canada est l\u00e0 pour rester, et elle doit rester pour nous donner espoir d\u2019\u00e9viter les impacts climatiques les plus irr\u00e9versibles.<\/p>\n<p>Il est bon de voir des politiques qui peuvent, si elles sont mises en \u0153uvre rapidement et avec la plus grande rigueur possible, pousser les ambitions climatiques du Canada plus loin que notre engagement actuel, insuffisant, \u00e0 l\u2019Accord de Paris, soit de r\u00e9duire les \u00e9missions jusqu\u2019\u00e0 40% sous les niveaux de 2005 d\u2019ici 2030. Il est \u00e9galement bon de voir un investissement de 15 milliards de dollars dans l\u2019action climatique.
