0 Canada’s Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade was tight-lipped this weekend about a taxpayer-funded two-day retreat, staged last year in London, England, involving its federal bureaucrats, Canadian diplomats, the Alberta government and the oil industry.
The meeting was designed as a training session for Canada’s diplomatic pro-oil lobbying team in its efforts to promote the Canadian oilsands sector and fight against climate change policies calling for a reduction in pollution. Read more…
