0 The objective in this document is to inform members of the EU as to the state of certain areas related to the FQD, including progress on methods of calculating GHG emissions from certain fuel sources and GHG intensity baselines to be used as a reference.
Within the report it is stated that many members are calling for specific default values be in place for furls which are particularly GHG intensive such as tar sand and other heavier crudes. It is also noted that “no Canadian oil sand derived crude oil enters the EU at present,” (p.3).
