US standards to reduce GHG emissions limits from 2012-2016

This memorandum’s focus is to provide information regarding the U.S. national regulations on GHG emissions on new cars and light trucks of the 2012-2016 model years and California’s support in implementing the program.  This would see ‘average GHG emissions of 250g of CO₂ per mile driven by 2016’.

Within the document it also states that “Canada’s national regulations will be completely aligned with those of the U.S”.
