This document provides a brief update as to the status of post Copenhagen climate negotiations as well as some information as to how to progress forward and implement the Accord. One key agreement was the commitment of developed countries to ‘provide up to $30 B for the three year, 2010-2012, period as well as a goal of a US $100 B per year up to 2020 to address the needs of developing countries’.
Also coming from the Accord was the commitment to establish emission regulations and mitigation strategies both in developed and developing countries, ideas to create mechanisms to address areas such as deforestation, and more.
