A selection of the best films submitted to Green Camera will be sceened during this convivial evening. As well, awards and honourable mentions will be presented to the best films.

Background:

Amateur and professional filmmakers can submit their films until November 14th.
Two screening evenings will present a selection of the best films.

Caméra verte/Green Camera is an international short film competition. The competition aims at giving filmmakers a unique opportunity to express their views regarding the problems of climate change while stimulating debate on climate change across Canada. Green Camera is open to professional and amateur filmmakers who are asked to submit films that deal with the theme, “Climate change: problems and solutions”.

Green Camera concludes with a mini film festival. At Sala Rossa, on December 1st, the best films will be screened. As well, awards and honourable mentions will be presented to the best films. At the NFB Theatre, on December 9th, a selection of the best films will be screened, followed by a panel discussion on Cinema and environmental issues.
