Description


With the upcoming international climate change negotiations in Montreal, more Manitoba small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) are beginning to consider the impacts of climate change, and future government policies related to climate change, on their businesses. The workshop's panel of speakers will address:
  • regional impacts of climate change; its potential to influence or impact future business decisions;
  • what is climate change and how do the COP/MOP negotiations work;
  • the influence these negotiations and Canada's international commitments have on shaping domestic climate change policies and programs;
  • and, climate change initiatives offering business and community economic development opportunities in Manitoba.
